Everyone Gets the Walk.
We want every guest to be able to do this event. Here's exactly what to expect, and how to reach a person if you need something we haven't listed.

- A Reduce motion control that stops all animation, plus automatic support for your device's reduced-motion setting
- Readable at 200% zoom and with custom text spacing applied
Getting Around the Trail
The route is just under a mile on the Zoo's standard paved paths, and is wheelchair and mobility-device accessible end to end. Expect two to two and a half hours at an unhurried pace, with places to stop and sit along the way.
Accessible parking, accessible restrooms, and wheelchair rental follow the Philadelphia Zoo's standard provisions — confirm current details and availability with the Zoo before your visit.
Service Animals
Trained service animals are welcome. Because the route passes live animal habitats, please check in at the main gate on arrival so staff can point out the sections of the trail best suited to your route.
Lights, Sound & Sensory Notice
LumiNature is a large-scale light experience. The route includes bright, colored, animated and flashing lighting effects, amplified music in some zones, roaming costumed performers, and stretches of low light between displays. Guests with photosensitive epilepsy, migraine triggers, or sensory sensitivities should take this into account. Staff at the main gate can describe which zones are the most intense and help you plan a gentler route.
